## What Earnbase Does

Earnbase samples the exchange rate of each DeFi vault and lending position daily, then annualises the change to produce APY figures over 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day windows. It covers 300+ strategies across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Sonic, and Avalanche — from protocols including Morpho, Euler, Aave, IPOR Fusion, Yearn, Fluid, Harvest, and Lagoon. Data refreshes daily. The site does not hold funds, execute trades, or interact with user wallets.

## Why APY Figures Differ From Other Sources

Many DeFi interfaces include token rewards, points programmes, and liquidity mining in their displayed yields. Earnbase excludes all of these. The APY shown reflects only what a vault earns from its core mechanism — lending interest, trading fees, or protocol revenue. This makes cross-protocol comparison meaningful and removes the noise from temporary incentive campaigns.

## How to Interpret the Sustainability Score

Each strategy receives a sustainability score from 0 to 100. The score measures how stable the on-chain exchange rate has been over the past 30 days. A score above 90 indicates very consistent returns. A score below 50 signals significant yield volatility or irregular compounding. A high sustainability score does not indicate low risk — it indicates yield consistency.

## What Networks Are Covered

Earnbase tracks DeFi yield across six EVM networks: Ethereum (mainnet), Base (Coinbase's Layer 2), Arbitrum (Optimistic rollup Layer 2), BNB Chain, Avalanche, and Sonic. Each asset hub page (e.g. /usdc, /eth) can be filtered by network to compare yields on a single chain, such as /usdc/base for USDC strategies on Base only.
